Jennie Griggs, BS, MA
Aging Studies: Founder and Principal
​
Jennie is an Aging Specialist. Most recently Jennie was chosen to serve as Program Director for two Senior Centers in North Carolina managed by Resources for Seniors, a not-for-profit organization in Raleigh NC. In this position, she writes a column “Engage in Age” and founded a new intergenerational program incorporating Gen Z's and Boomers called #Boppers#Boomers with a mission for each generation to socialize, learn and benefit from one another as they engage in various activities emphasizing each other's strengths. In addition, Jennie freely consults in geriatric care management.
A course developer in the field of aging, she also enjoys motivational speaking and teaching various fitness and Evidence-Based programs to this population. Once successful in the corporate world representing companies in sales, business development and training, Jennie’s life course and personal mission refocused following her health battles and those of her husband, who lost his fight with a lengthy illness and dementia. Jennie teaches courses at Wichita State, Wake Tech, holds her NC and SC Life, Accident and Health License to assist seniors with Medicare and Medicaid questions, and she also makes presentations to a variety of groups interested in learning more about the aging population.

Lynne Peer
M.Ed. in Secondary Education: Principal

Lynne is an instructional designer, corporate trainer and technical writer. She has developed over 75 courses for corporate clients, writes continuing education courses for architects and designers and develops facilitator guides and participant manuals along with train the trainer guidance to help companies deliver their own training sessions.
She began her career as an educator teaching in secondary schools and college and then moved into the corporate world. She has worked as a public relations director of the Carpet and Rug Institute, director of marketing for a manufacturing company, and has led an independent consulting firm for 22 years, specializing corporate training, in researching and developing marketing and training materials, presentations and instructional design in a wide variety of industries.
